Adele Oshawee
Horsemanship Instructor & Outreach Program Coordinator, Dauphin Bible Camp
Hello, my name is Adele, and I have been involved with camps since I can remember. I attended Bible camps throughout my childhood. I got introduced to Dauphin Bible Camp in 2016, when my family moved to Dauphin from Winnipeg. I did the Discipleship in Training Program in 2018 and began my journey as a staff member. I have done cabin leading, work crew, kitchen, wrangling and in 2023 became a Horsmanship instructor, teaching riding lessons and summer camps. I met my husband, Blaine, at camp and later got married in 2021. He grew up attending and working at the camp and now works as a Sales Consultant at Dauphin Ford and occasionally helps out up at camp. This past summer, I felt God calling me further into ministry, and I thank Him for the many doors He has opened. I am super excited to have gotten the opportunity to work at camp full-time as a Horsemanship Instructor & Program Coordinator, as I pursue my passion for working at camp and spreading the gospel. I am looking forward to how God will work in my life and the people’s lives around me as I embark on this new journey.
