Austin Wooden

Hello, my name is Austin Wooden, the director at David Thompson Bible Camp. Shamayah and I have been married for 5 years and are expecting our first child! I have a bachelor's degree from PRBI, and we were just in Mexico City on an internship for 8 months. We were there with our church, where we got to learn from international workers. 

We have grown up around camps and have been helping at different camps since we were old enough to. We are very passionate about camp ministry and are excited for this new role that the Lord has guided and directed us to for this season. We are constantly encouraged by how the Lord works through children and youth, and how He impacts families, churches and communities through camp. I will be working part-time for the camp from the end of September to May. We are hoping to fundraise from 10.5 hours at minimum wage to 20 hours at a livable wage for our family during the non-summer months.
