Camp Director, David Thompson Bible Camp

Hello, my name is Austin Wooden, the director at David Thompson Bible Camp. Shamayah and I have been married for 5 years, and we just had our first child! She has been an amazing addition to our family and has brought so much joy into our lives!

We have grown up around camps and have been helping at different camps since we were old enough to do so. We are both very passionate about camp ministry and are excited for what God is going to do through camp this summer. We are constantly encouraged by how the Lord works through children and youth, and how He impacts families, churches and communities through camp.
I started with the camp this past June and have been working part-time since September. We praise the Lord for this opportunity and continue to pray that He will use us in this ministry. We also praise the Lord and thank you for the gracious gifts that have been given so far.
We are working on fundraising from 10.5 hours to 20 hours during the non-summer months. We appreciate your support through prayer and any other way the Lord calls you to support us or others!
