I grew up on a small farm in Southern Alberta, in the same town my wife, Lia, is from. We were married in 2012 and continued farming for a few years with my parents until God led us in a different direction. In 2017 we moved to Melita, MB with our two young children at the time (Rayna and Ty), where I began my apprenticeship at John Deere as an Agriculture Equipment Technician. After completing that, we felt God moving us again – this time to Boissevain where I continued mechanicing for a large farm. While living in Manitoba we were also blessed with two more children (Emrie, and Asher). 2024 became a pivotal year for myself, and in turn, my family. As I really began reading God’s Word and studying it in a way I never had before, I just felt like God had something different for our family. We began to say “yes” to Him as He was opening doors and taking us down a very different road, first with fostering in the spring and later with attending YWAM in Chico, California to complete a Family Discipleship Training School. Right in the middle of those two life changing events, God also led me to TMBC and we knew without hesitation that it was His doing. This was not something I had ever considered before as I had never even attended camp as a child, but God certainly used YWAM to begin preparing us for this new adventure serving Him and we as a family are so excited to be a part of what God is doing through this ministry.
