Assistant Program Director - Maple Springs Bible Camp
Howdy! I'm Carsten, but if you ask any campers they probably know me as Fence. I served as a cabin leader at Maple Springs for years, devoting every summer to serving at camp since 2018. In early 2023 I became a full-time, year round missionary. As the Assistant Program Director my primary role is planning and facilitating a fun, memorable and safe program for all our kids. I believe camp is an incredible ministry that has impacted my life along with countless others. My desire for camp is to always be a welcoming place for kids to get outside, make lasting friendships and learn the truth of the Gospel together.
I love playing characters at camp, immersing kids in a story and encouraging them to be silly and play. In my free time I play the Banjo, hike, and always enjoy a good board game.
I look forward to seeing how God continues to use camp and myself to grow his kingdom.
