Kory Sikstrom

Kory is excited to be joining Camp Silversides where his ministry journey began in 1997. He is joined by his wife Erin and two daughters, Rachel and Naomi, where they are excited to be serving as a family on mission together. Kory is passionate about developing missional communities that have a heart and hunger for Jesus and for His mission. He has served at The Mustard Seed in Calgary, the Red Cross in Disaster Management, and overseas in Romania where they founded a Youth Ministry in the city of Craiova. He has enjoyed studying at Rocky Mountain College and Fuller Theological Seminary.

Kory believes that a key part of camp is providing a place for young people to come and live in a community of Jesus followers, developing and using the gifts God has put into each one of them in Kingdom building ways. The better we can disciple those young leaders, the better the impact camp will have on the campers. He is excited to see how Silversides can help every person that comes to our property take one step closer to being like Jesus. We want to be more than a summer camp and be a place where we are pursing the lost developing a heart for the lost.
