Lea Duckworth
Administrative Assistant, Camp Livingstone
My name is Lea, and camp has always been a significant part of my life. I was 5 years old the first time I went to Camp Livingstone. I attended family camp for a week, and I’ve been coming back every year since! It was through the opportunities for growth that camp provided—such as being a cabin leader, leading programs, and serving as the chapel speaker at children’s camp—that I was stretched beyond my comfort zone and learned to rely on the Lord through it all.
After spending two years studying and working at a Bible school, I spent time earnestly seeking the Lord in prayer, asking for His will and guidance for my life. I felt a strong call to missions, but I wasn’t sure what form it would take. As I continued to pray, I sensed an increasing desire to serve the Lord full-time, especially in the area of camp ministry. Following His leading, I joined Camp Livingstone year-round as the administrative assistant.
I am grateful for the opportunity to serve in full-time ministry, and I appreciate your prayers and support as I continue this journey. It’s clear that the Lord opened the door for me to serve in this capacity, and I’m excited for all that He has in store!
