Maple Springs Bible Camp - Leadership Lodge Purchase

We have recently been given use of a new building that we are calling “The Lodge”. This new Lodge will immediately grow our capacity to serve campers, youth and young leaders right now, and will also provide for future growth of the facility and year-round ministry of Maple Springs.
We have been talking about and considering this adjacent property for decades. Our generous neighbours already donated a land parcel! But with a conversation July 2025, we had camp supporters approach us with an incredible opportunity to consider: a rent-to-own agreement! After many discussions with One Hope Canada, the Maple Springs Board and Staff, we replied with a strong yes! This supporter has now proceeded with the first step by purchasing this property and “Lodge” and signed a Rent-to-Own agreement with Maple Springs. This means we are renting and already using this Lodge.
We would humbly ask you to consider pledging a gift over the next three years to help the Lodge become a permanent part of Maple Springs Bible Camp. Our Rent-to-Own Agreement goes for up to five years, but with a project of this size, and based on past funding opportunities we have some important deadlines.

Mar 1, 2026 We will begin receiving donations toward this project.

June 1, 2027 We need 40% ($720,000) pledged or received in order to apply for a large grant from a Charitable Trust that has given to camp in the past.

December 1, 2029 We hope to have all funds pledged or received, giving time to receiving finishing grant gifts, complete the purchase, to save on Rental Costs and to make any needed changes for future use.
The Lodge is all about Discipleship, Leadership and training for life in God’s Kingdom. We see amazing Christian Leaders growing through experiences at camp. The primary use for The Lodge will be discipling young Christian leaders. This includes improving and growing our Intern Discipleship program, housing young leaders during the summer, and as a bonus creating more space for campers and LITs (Leaders in Training) in summer.Looking to the future, we are excited to see how God will use these added beds and space to continue our purpose of: “Presenting the Gospel to those with the least opportunity to hear of Christ, especially children and youth, and discipling believers for living and serving in His church” Our Maple Springs way to do that is “Building Relationships, Changing Lives”
