Pearl Hiemstra

Dan and Pearl Hiemstra have been helping people within the community for 25 years together. From running vacation Bible schools, supporting special needs adults to find employment, raising a child with Autism, teaching at several Christian schools and volunteering at Camp Amasa, these two have been willing to use their experience and skills to serve God. Dan is a teacher at Correctional Service Canada serving inmates by helping with their education studies at a maximum-security institution in Agassiz, BC. Pearl is a certified Employment Support Specialist serving and helping adults with Autism, Schizophrenia, ADHD, and other needs to find employment and be more involved in their communities. They live in Harrison Hot Springs, BC, and they have two grown sons who are finishing post-secondary studies and finding their career direction. Dan and Pearl are dedicated to serving One Hope Canada ministries with summer and weekend camps and bringing the word of God to people who need extra support and care.
