Hi, I’m Victoria and I have been involved with Monarch since I was 6 years old! Ever since I started attending camp, I have loved every part! Growing up, I remember playing camp with my siblings and cousins often hoping that one day I would be able to direct this camp. Fast forward almost 20 years and here I am running camp and sharing the Gospel with so many kids and watching campers and staff grow in their faith and understanding of Jesus. I worked for Monarch as a summer staff for about 5 summers as a kitchen staff, drama director and waterfront director. My three favourite parts of camp are seeing kids get excited when they receive their first Bible, working with a new staff team each summer and watching them grow in their faith, and all things waterfront (boating, free swim, SUPs, etc.). From water sports to chapel time, camp has taught me that every moment is an opportunity to point kids to Jesus. When I’m not at camp or responding to emails, you might find me working at my other job as a Chartered Professional Accountant. As much as I love crunching numbers, my heart is at camp. I'm grateful that God has given me a job with the flexibility to invest in this calling He's placed on my life. As I walk with Jesus, I'm reminded daily how important it is to keep sharing His love and be a light in every place He calls me. When I’m not working, you might find me hiking, doing arts and crafts, swimming, spending time with family and friends at our cottage, and trying out new restaurants. As I continue to grow in my relationship with Jesus, He teaches that every moment is an opportunity to point kids to Him.
