Ivy Cottage is one of our few cabins that’s used year-round. When it’s not filled with campers during the summer, it serves as a home for our interns.

A few summers ago, during a heat wave, the campers staying in Ivy couldn’t get comfortable. A leader gathered all the girls out onto the lawn. They lay down on the cool grass and got a refreshing shower from the hose. The cooling method worked wonders, and the campers were finally able to relax and get a restful night’s sleep.
