Camper Story

One of our campers came from a difficult home life. Their mom was an addict, and when they were six, they found their brother dead due to suicide. At the end of their week, they came, unprompted, to thank us for giving them a week at camp. They nearly made their leaders cry with joy as they told them that they hadn’t been this happy in a long time.
