Salem is spacious and has a more finished interior than some other cabins. It is also the cabin that is closest to the pool, making it popular among the campers. Each morning campers run from their cabin to the flag pole, and Salem happens to be a little closer than the other cabins.

Our director's wife, Shelley, came from a non-Christian home, and was one of the "least opportunity" children that One Hope Canada aims to reach. Salem is the cabin where she became a Christian at age 11. Shelley remembers her cabin leader, and the bunk where she slept - which was the same place where she accepted Jesus. It will always have a special place in her heart!
